Guitar lessons are given on a weekly basis, consisting of a balance of solo performance and musical language skills, instructing the student not only learn to read, write and recite music, but also to learn to speak the language of music, nurturing the ability to improvise and perform in ensemble situations with other musicians. Both classical and jazz genres are taught using a variety of methods including the original text, “Wow, I Have Ten Fingers!”. Performance venues are provided. He has an in-home studio and teaches approximately 20 students of all ages. In 2019 his studio included a middle school graduate who was accepted to the school of the arts.
